Podcast 105 – From Scout to Scout Parent

Again a great pod cast. I look forward each week to the next one. Thanks so much for your efforts. Great reply to the e-mail on who determines leadership positions. My copy of the Scoutmaster’s Handbook says that unless otherwise noted, the leadership positions are selected by the SPL. Patrol Leader is elected by the patrol, SPL elected by the Troop, and a couple of others (ASPL and JASM) say selected by SPL with consent of the SM. So there it is in writing. Not selected or appointed by the SM or elected (with exception of SPL and PL). I remember reading that the SM and Den Leader also have consent on Den Cheifs but I can’t find where I read this, so I may be wrong on this.
