Larry Geiger is a Scoutmaster in Veira, Florida. He started commenting on the blog frequently some time ago. His comments were well-reasoned and thoughtful and often sparked or advanced an email conversation. I asked Larry to join me for interview on Podcast 38 and we had a great time swapping stories. His extensive experience in Scouting is impressive and I was very pleased he accepted my offer to make him a contributor to the blog. – Clarke
A long, long time ago, in my first real job my boss, a YMCA Executive Director told me to start a “Personal History”. Keep track of every job and every thing that I’ve done, where I’ve lived, etc.
Well, I’ve done that. It really makes filling out job applications easier.
I have also included other things in my history like Scouting. So here it is: probably way more stuff than anyone wants to know but here it is anyway.
I’ve been involved in Scouting since I joined Troop 102 in 1964. I have held many different volunteer leader positions as an adult.
